There's a nice review of my poem, "The Sun God Bids Farewell to His Lover," over at The Fix. Check it out.
Speaking of poems, I'm still fighting with the one that wants to be a short story. Who'd have thunk a poem could be so darn stubborn? Heh.
Everything Else
Saw "I Am Legend" this weekend with my hubby. I thought it was very well-acted -- Will Smith played his role to perfection. The end was a bit of a let-down, but not in a movie-ruining sense. Just a little too pat. Still a good movie -- I'd give it a B+.

Date: 2007-12-21 08:27 pm (UTC)I'm not a huge horror fan, per se. There are only two horror movies that have really scared me: John Carpenter's "Halloween" and "The Exorcist" (which I've never managed to watch all the way through, and probably never will). I like the "fun" scares, or the movies that make you think. I'm not into torture porn like Saw or Hostel.
Oh, and spider movies scare me. I still remember "Kingdom of the Spiders" from my youth and, of course, "Arachnophobia." Now THAT'S scary! ::shivers::
