*Rejection, 2008 SFPA Poetry Contest, 9/21 (RT: 3 weeks)
Well, okay, no actual rejection for the last, but the winners were announced here and my name wasn't on the list, so it amounts to the same thing. But congrats to all the poets who did make the list!
Everything Else
Spent the weekend in San Diego in a cramped, musty hotel room where the fire alarm kept going off intermittently. Did manage to squeeze in a free trip to SeaWorld, compliments of Budweiser's "Here's to the Heroes" salute, so that was fun, at least. And it was nice to enjoy weather in the 70s, instead of the 100s (still). But, all in all, I'm glad to be home.
