I've decided to start reproducing my Blogger posts here on LJ. Whether or not this will result in a permanent move remains to be seen.

Writing

Another 2000 words today, and I still have two scenes to go. But the end is in sight; I should be done by Sunday.

Everything Else

One thing I'm looking forward to once I get my first draft in is delving into the pile of books I've bought since I started working on LoW, but haven't had time to read yet. Just for fun, I'll list them (sorry, too tired to do links):

Fiction
In the Claws of the Tiger -- James Wyatt
Voyage of the Mourning Dawn -- Rich Wulf
Thieves of Blood -- Tim Waggoner
The Erevis Cale books -- Paul S. Kemp
Moon Called -- Patricia Briggs
Dead Until Dark -- Charlaine Harris
Carpe Demon -- Julie Kenner
Dime Store Magic -- Kelley Armstrong
The Fairy Godmother -- Mercedes Lackey
The Kill -- Allison Brennan
Flights: Extreme Visions of Fantasy Vol. I & II -- Al Sarrantonio (ed.)
Guardian of Honor -- Robin D. Owens
Once Upon Stilettos -- Shanna Swendson

Non-Fiction
The Optimistic Child -- Martin E. P. Seligman, Ph.D.
Raising an Optimistic Child -- Bob Murray, Ph.D. & Alicia Fortinberry
Godless: the Church of Liberalism -- Ann Coulter
The Philippine Cookbook -- Reynaldo Alejandro
And five or six books on [deleted]* as research for my YA book

If I'm lucky, I'll finish one or two of them before the revisions come back from my editor, heh.

* -- sorry, don't mean to be coy, but I'm not ready to divulge the storyline yet.

Interesting thing #14: I lettered in tennis in high school. Unfortunately, I could never afford the jacket to wear the letter on, but it was still cool.
