*SALE!, Paper Crow, 4/8 (RT: 6 weeks)

*Rejection, Escape Clause antho, 4/9 (RT: 6 weeks)

The Escape Clause reject was very complimentary, so that's always a plus.

Started Max on his weekly weight checks today, and he's up to 8 lbs., 14 oz., thanks be to God! The PA who saw him at the pediatrician's office said Max was gaining as if he had no heart issues, which is WONDERFUL news! Also, his respiration rate seems to be slowing down a bit -- mid-to-high fifties while at rest now, instead of the mid-to-high sixties. Still too fast, but definitely an improvement, so please keep those prayers coming -- they're obviously working!

Thanks, Jaime! It is a HUGE relief to know he's gaining well in spite of everything. I thought he was -- his diapers are getting a little snugger and he looks rounder -- but there's nothing like having it confirmed with actual numbers.

That's great news on Max.

Congrats on the sale, and on the complimentary rejection (even if another sale would've been better).

I am so glad to hear Max is doing better. Aren't kids amazing? They are truly the the most resilient creatures in the universe. Something that would keep an adult down and out for weeks only keeps a kids down for a few days. Max will probably be out hunting eggs on Easter :-)

I'll keep sending prayers your way.

Marcy,

Very encouraging news about Max! I can only imagine how anxiety-inducing these doctor visits have been. Best wishes, and many positive waves,

Been reminding myself to get back on here to comment for eons, it feels like.

YAY for Max! Prayers aren't stopping until he's 25, just to be safe.

:-D
