*Rejection, The Horror Library Vol. 2, 10/21 (RT: 6 weeks)
Encouraging, as far as rejections go:
"Do you have anything else you'd like to send along? We seriously like your style and your abilities, it's just sometimes it take a few tries to find exactly what we're looking for with our collections."
Unfortunately, my horror inventory is running a little low, so I'm not sure I have anything else to send them, but I'll look.
I also updated my publication credits and deleted or fixed all the broken links, so if you haven't had a chance to read some of my stuff that's online, now would be a good time to check it out.
Everything Else
EB's 12th birthday party is this coming weekend. We're planning on going to the State Fair on Friday, as all military personnel and their families get in free that day, and then we're having some folks over on Saturday for a pretty low-key thing -- BBQ, cake, presents, maybe some Halloween-type games. I believe my husband told the coworkers he invited it was a costume party, though. That could get interesting. Heh.
Interesting thing #35: My hubby and I honeymooned in Scotland. While we were staying in a castle on the Isle of Mull, I had a horrible dream that EB had drowned while swimming with his godparents (whom he rarely sees). I called back to the States the next morning to check on him, only to discover he'd gone to a pool party...with his godparents. I was terrified! Obviously, nothing bad happened to him, but how odd is that? Still gives me shivers, just thinking about it.
