Many of you know Beezer of the critically-acclaimed Beezer Review (or you should, anyway, if you popped over to read his review of Legacy of Wolves when I posted the link). He's reviewed about a million WotC books over the years, and has no doubt impacted the sales of same. Well, he posted some pretty sad news yesterday. Please remember him in your prayers; I know I will.
Everything Else
In happier news, I can't believe I forgot to mention that my Huskers actually made it back into the Top 25 this season (they debuted at #24)! Considering they haven't even been ranked since 2005, this is HUGE! Surely it marks a return to Husker glory! (Or, you know, at least a reprieve from ignominy, heh.)
I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention that hubby's Trojans are currently #3 (and will likely go higher after they scrub the field with Ohio State this evening).
Also, a quick Max update, and an appeal. Max's clinic visit Friday went well, though he is severely neutropenic (his ANC was 116), so we've enacted the post-chemo quarantine to try and keep him from contracting anything that could land him in the ER (since a fever = instant hospital admission). His platelets were also very low -- luckily, they weren't quite low enough to need a transfusion, considering there is a severe platelet shortage in Phoenix right now, and he couldn't have gotten a transfusion even if he did need it.
If you're in the area, or anywhere really, and are able to donate blood, please consider doing so -- you never know whose 5-month-old baby you could be helping out. (Plus -- cookies! Need I say more?)
