Also, I'm an idiot! I completely forgot to tell you all the wonderful news!
The utterly delightful Samantha Henderson, author of the very creepy Heaven's Bones, has signed with WotC to write a Forgotten Realms novel! Rush over and congratulate her immediately, if you haven't already done so, and commence eagerly anticipating the release of her sophomore effort -- I know I am!
Everything Else
Max is standing! (Holding on to stuff, but, still.) And eating rice cereal! Like, you know, a normal kid. It's kind of nice.
In other homefront news, YB has developed a crush on one of his classmates, who apparently has her eye on another boy. Ye gods, but it starts early, doesn't it? Still, considering EB had already proposed to a girl by the time he hit kindergarten (asked her dad's permission and everything), I'm not going to complain. Much. Heh.

As a HUGE Ravenloft fan, I've been wanting to read Heaven's Bones for a while, but my own parenthood and my driving commute have seriously screwed with my efforts to read books over the past two years. I shall redouble my efforts to tackle my To-Read shelf!
