*2 of those I never actually got rejections for, but when they publish the TOC and your poems aren't on it, that's a pretty good indicator that they decided to pass. Heh.
Very sad stats, I know. Hopefully November will be a better month in terms of subs and sales, but I'm not holding my breath.
Everything Else
I think I may finally be on the downhill portion of this nasty cold that my ILs brought over from Europe. YB seems to be on the mend, and EB and hubby never really caught it, or at least have done a much better job of fending it off, so hopefully we'll all be well by Friday, when the ILs come are coming back and will probably infect us all over again. Joy.
I got an...interesting...call from my Dad today. Turns out I have a 51-year-old half-sister. Dad just found out about her a few days ago. How weird must that be -- finding out you've had a daughter for half a century that you never even knew about? I guess she still lives in Montana and has a whole herd of kids of her own. She's interested in meeting the half-siblings she never knew, so Dad is going to get her address and phone number and I guess I will start getting to know a sister who is almost old enough to be my mother.
Crazy.
Interesting thing #39: I think the above is plenty interesting enough for one post. Heh.
