Sometimes, I'm not sure why I even bother...
Everything Else
They did, in fact, cancel Max's scans and have now rescheduled them for the 16th (injection) and 17th (actual scans). Until something new comes up, that is.
In the meantime, YB got sent home from school today for his hacking cough. He's been on breathing treatments for two weeks, completed a 9-day course of oral steroids, and was actually doing a little better until the trip to CA put the kibosh on that. So we're headed in to the doctor to see what else they can do for him. Considering he's never run a fever at any point or had any other symptoms besides the cough, there's no reason to think it's either bacterial or viral (or if it is, the offending organism is likely long gone by now, and we are dealing with the aftermath). So I'm not really sure what more we can do, short of sticking him in the hospital and putting him on O2 for the duration. Which will just about push me over the edge, I think.
SO very tired of my kids being sick. Sigh.
