*Submission, Holy Horrors antho, 11/14

Thanks to all of you who have preordered Legacy of Wolves! I already have a sales rank and everything! Of course, I have no idea how Amazon figures those things, but it sounds cool. Heh.

Speaking of LoW, I got the rest of my editor's comments today, and my deadline. Now it's time to sit down and start killing my darlings, heh.

Everything Else

This weekend was IN-SANE. On top of everything else that we had going on, we were woken by sirens around 3:30 AM on Saturday only to find that a neighbor's house was in the process of burning to the ground. Ten fire trucks responded to the call - it was a million-dollar custom home, two stories, probably 8,000 s.f. It took the firefighters a good two hours to put the fire out, and some of the nearby homes sustained damage, as well. It was both frightening and humbling to witness and, frankly, I hope to never see such a sight ever again.

Interesting thing #43: I have oddly-shaped feet; I have slight protrusions beneath both of my pinky toes that look almost like vestigial sixth toes.

I know, probably more than you really wanted to know about me, right? Well, you try coming up with 100 interesting things about yourself! Heh.

I wonder if those next-door disasters are God's way of going "PSYCHE!" Still, sucks to lose a home like that.

I have like, a lump of bone on the underside of the second knuckle of my ring finger. Someday when I have too much money and time on my hands, I'm gonna get it X-Rayed just to find out what it looks like.

And then sell the image to a rock band for a CD cover.

About the almost six toe thing, all I can think about is a certain Spaniard saying, "Do you by chance have six fingers on your right hand?"

To which a certain pirate responds, "Do you always begin conversations this way?"

And yes, I'd have a hard time thinking up 100 interesting things about me. Maybe 100 boring things? :)

I may have to cut it at 50. How sad is that?

Could be worse. I'd probably have to stop at 17.

Yikes. Sorry to hear about the fire. Hope everyone was okay.

En route to 100: Childhoods are just chock full with interesting stuff. Tell us more about the little Marce in the photo...
