Thanks to all of you who have preordered Legacy of Wolves! I already have a sales rank and everything! Of course, I have no idea how Amazon figures those things, but it sounds cool. Heh.
Speaking of LoW, I got the rest of my editor's comments today, and my deadline. Now it's time to sit down and start killing my darlings, heh.
Everything Else
This weekend was IN-SANE. On top of everything else that we had going on, we were woken by sirens around 3:30 AM on Saturday only to find that a neighbor's house was in the process of burning to the ground. Ten fire trucks responded to the call - it was a million-dollar custom home, two stories, probably 8,000 s.f. It took the firefighters a good two hours to put the fire out, and some of the nearby homes sustained damage, as well. It was both frightening and humbling to witness and, frankly, I hope to never see such a sight ever again.
Interesting thing #43: I have oddly-shaped feet; I have slight protrusions beneath both of my pinky toes that look almost like vestigial sixth toes.
I know, probably more than you really wanted to know about me, right? Well, you try coming up with 100 interesting things about yourself! Heh.

Date: 2006-11-15 06:54 am (UTC)I have like, a lump of bone on the underside of the second knuckle of my ring finger. Someday when I have too much money and time on my hands, I'm gonna get it X-Rayed just to find out what it looks like.
And then sell the image to a rock band for a CD cover.

And yes, I'd have a hard time thinking up 100 interesting things about me. Maybe 100 boring things? :)
