Several of my fellow IAMTW members have created a fun little gem called The Chain Story Project. Go check it out -- you won't be disappointed! (And, no, I'm not involved...yet.)
Also, I just heard that Frank Frazetta has passed. As Phil Athans tweeted, RIP to the man who showed us what fantasy looked like.
Everything Else
Speaking of disappointment, Max has come down with a bit of a cold, so we may have to cancel his scans this week. Which would suck for a multitude of reasons, not the least of which being that hubby leaves for a 2-week(ish) Navy assignment the day AFTER we're supposed to do the scans, so rescheduling them is going to be problematic, to say the least.
Also, we got YB in to see the pulmonologist Friday, after some fun chest and neck x-rays. The pulmonologist did a PFT, which confirmed the asthma diagnosis, and changed up YB's meds to help get a handle on this cough. We are supposed to take him for a sinus CT today (IF I ever get a call from the place that does them) to rule out any sort of silent sinus infection, and we did a blood test Friday to check for allergies, the results of which should be in tomorrow or Wednesday. In the meantime, he's still hacking away like he really doesn't need one of his lungs and would like to expel it from his body. Hoping he doesn't succeed in that endeavor any time soon. Heh.
ETA: Hope all the Moms and Mr. Moms out there had a great Mother's Day!
