*Rejection, Tapestry of Bronze Spring 2010 poetry contest, 5/21? (RT: 3 weeks?)

If you didn't win or get an Honorable Mention, you weren't informed that poems had been selected, so I'm not sure when the results were first announced, but I saw them today, so that's what we'll go with.

Everything Else

So YB woke up this morning covered in spots. After a bit of scrambling, we got him in to the doctor, where they diagnosed an allergic reaction to the antibiotic he's been taking (amoxicillin). Got the antibiotic switched over, and he seems fine now (if still rather colorful).

Unfortunately, Max is on the exact same medicine, so I guess we'll find out in a day or two if he takes after his older brother (and mom).

FWIW, I am allergic to Amoxicillin and a host of other antibiotics (enough of them that the docs don't even try it if there's any way to avoid them.) But no on else in my family is. Maybe Max will dodge this bullet. He deserves a freebie.

The good news (as you well know) is now that YB's off that nasty, evil stuff, he will recover quickly.
